The Festive Season is all about friends, family and creativity. This is the perfect recipe to bring everyone together - it’s simple, it’s delicious and it’s a whole lot of fun. This banana bread recipe has been adapted to form donuts instead, making it incredibly easy to serve up come Christmas day.
Makes 12 medium-sized donuts

3/4 cup almond milk
2 cups plain flour, sifted
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp baking poweder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 cup mashed banana (1 medium-sized banana)
2 tbsp Bio Buttery, melted
Chocolate Glaze
1 1/2 cups icing sugar
4 tbsp (27g) cocoa powder
2 tbsp plant-based milk or water
2 tsp vanilla

Method
For the glaze, sift together the icing sugar and cocoa into a medium-sized bowl. Slowly stir in your plant-based milk and vanilla a little at a time to make a smooth, pourable glaze.
Preheat your oven to 215C and lightly grease your donut pan.
For your donuts, combine almond milk and lemon juice in a small bowl.
In a large bowl, whisk together your flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Add almond milk mixture, banana and melted Bio Buttery. Mix until well combined and fill each donut cup until approximately 2/3 full.
Place in the oven and allow to bake for 7-9 minutes or until the tops of the donuts spring back when touched. Let to cool for 5 minutes in the pan before removing and allowing to cool on a wire wrack.
Pour over glaze and allow to slightly solidify before placing decorations.
