Smoked salmon… on a pizza? Hey, don’t knock it til you try it! We used a cauliflower base for this daring kitchen creation and were seriously surprised by the flavour combination.
Ingredients
1 Store bought cauliflower pizza base
Half a tub of BioTzatziki
Handful of BioCheese Grated Parmesano
25 Grams BioButtery
2 Cloves garlic, crushed
3 Slices of Smoked Salmon
Capers to garnish
Spinach leaves to garnish
Plant-based mayonnaise to garnish
Method
1. Preheat oven to 180°C and place pizza on a baking paper lined tray
2. Spread BioButtery on base, then sprinkle over garlic making a pseudo ‘garlic butter’
3. Sprinkle over BioCheese Grated Parmesano and bake in oven for 5 minutes or until base becomes crispy
4. Remove from oven and allow to cool for a minute or two. Then spread over BioTzatziki
5. Layer spinach and salmon over BioTzatziki, then garnish with capers and dollops of plant-based mayonnaise
6. Slice up and serve immediately

We’ve made this pizza for our dairy conscious customers, but it’s super easy to make it vegan! There are some great vegan substitutes for smoked salmon including some amazing creations with carrot. This pizza would also work well with a plant-based meat topping.
